While you are correct that there are other autosliding 5th wheel hitch options out there, we currently (December of 2019) only carry the Demco Hijacker solution for a 2020 GMC Sierra 2500 with the factory prep package and this includes the Rail Adapter Kit # DM6333 along with either the 18K # DM8550034 or the 21K # DM8550035 Hijacker.

If you're not getting enough clearance with your B&W gooseneck ball, then one thing you can do is swap out the ball with the B&W 4" Offset Ball, part # BWGNXA4085. This is perfectly compatible with the B&W Turnoverball gooseneck trailer hitches and will give you an additional 4 inches in the back. The difference between the Reese Fold-Down Gooseneck Hitches, # 8339-4456 and # 8339-4434, is the frame brackets and the vehicles they fit. Part # 8339-4456 fits 2011-2015 Silverado and Sierra 2500 and 3500 HD trucks. Part # 8339-4434 fits the 1999-2010 Silverado and Sierra 2500 and 3500 trucks. Yes, the Reese Quick Install Base Rails, parts # RP56001-53 and # RP50066-58, are essentially the same. They both use existing holes in your 2017 Chevrolet Silverado 2500's frame. The only difference is that the # RP56001-53 kit does have the slightly bigger base rails which will move the mounting points to outside part of the frame for easier installation.

The Demco 5th Wheel Rail Adapter for Chevy/GMC OEM 5th Wheel Towing Prep Package - 6-1/2' Bed - 21K # DM6194 will have 4 corners that drop into your pucks and the center post will fit into your gooseneck hitch location. The center post has a lever to lock the adapter into place and then a thumb screw tightens that down to secure it. The 5th wheel hitch will fit right over this adapter to make it more secure. The difference is the application. The Curt # C16025 legs fit the factory GM pucks from model year 2061-2019. For the 2020+ model year, GM decided to change the layout of their factory pucks which required a design change for the legs.
